High-Velocity Lead
So, I wrote a poem called High-Velocity Lead or The Cowboy's Lament about a cowboy who was up in the woods checking the trap-line when something bad happened. It's actually loosely inspired by something my dad always says about how if the end of the world were to come instead of investing in silver or gold he would invest in high-velocity lead. The poem can be read over at White Fox: Silver Crow or on my page at fifteen minutes of fiction. Enjoy! Also, hi to my new follower. I feel I should mention that I tried to post last week but for some reason it didn't go through. The gist was I decided to keep a real in a book diary so I can whine about the military without getting in trouble for putting stuff online. In other words, don't be surprised if I post even less often than I do already.
