Even though that seems like a very reasonable rate considering all you get for the money you know what they say, "if it sounds too good to be true then it probably is." I talked to my mom and she said that a person could probably do a lot of that stuff themselves and not have to pay as much for it. Anyone can sell anything on Amazon, ISBN numbers and Library of congress numbers are usually dirt cheap if not free, and retired english teachers make great editors who don't expect to be paid. Besides, can I really afford a thousand dollars right now what with school, and loans, and cost of living without a job? (technically, since the book is a colaboration I would only have to come up with half the money but five hundred is still a lot.) I guess I'll take J.F.'s advice and sleep on it. Besides, her mom might agree with my mom and then where would we be?

Too Good to Be True?
I was sitting in the library today reading a book when I got a phone call. Not just any phone call. A phone call from a publisher. It was a representative from Trafford publishing, one of the people I sent an e-mail to about submissions on Friday. Traffrod is like a self publisher with a ton of benefits, they format everything for you, edit everything for you, market everything for you, you get an ISBN, a library of congress number, a deal with barnes and noble for see inside the book, amazon marketing and sales, the ability to set your own book selling price and royalty rate, and personal publishing counslor to guide you through every step of the process. The catch is, with evey thing included it will cost 1,084.10.
