This morning I went to the mall and hung out in Barnes and Noble. So many books, so little time (isn't that a song lyric?). I looked at a lot of books but nothing really stood out to me. I got one that looked kinda interesting called A Kiss Before the Apocalypse. I'm only on the second chapter so I don't know if I like it yet. The blurb on the back intrigued me: a private eye who's a former angel searches for the missing Angel of Death and averts the apocalypse. Plus it had a dog on the cover. The last book I read with a dog on the cover turned out to be pretty good.

I had a little Chinese for lunch in the food court and headed back to my dorm. My mom came by this afternoon to pick up a load of stuff, my fridge, microwave, and some boxes of junk I won't need tomorrow. After that, mom, J.F. and I went to Dairy Queen (or the gay milkman as my dad would call it, no offense). Hot fudge sudaes hit the spot on such a warm day.
My room is practically empty now. Only my t.v., bedspread, and clothes are left to take home tomorrow. I found out none of my books are worth any money at the buyback. I spent over 250 dollars and only one of the six books was worth anything, if one lousy dollar counts... I'd probably have better luck at the paperback exchange or selling them on Amazon. Most of them were brand new too! I'm really angry but don't want to write the p word, my mother would disaprove. Maybe if I sleep on it I'll feel better...
