Yesterday I went with my dad to v-town. The road at the rail siding was feet deep in goopy mud. Instead of pay for a carwash he drove around looking for puddles to drive through because the lake was still iced over. I'd say he was being cheap but after that he paid for lunch at the new Mexican place in the mall and bought me a book at the bookstore. I also bought myself the illiad and the odyssey. When we got home I took a nice three hour nap, watched some t.v. and went to bed.
Today I went with my folks to Duluth. We had lunch at grandma's, looked rappalas at gander mountain, sat in some comfy chairs at sneiderman's, and everyone got a couple books at barnes and noble. Not that I really needed more books to not read but as long as someone else was paying. It was a lovely warm spring day out too. Made me wish it was dry enough and that I had enough friends to play baseball. At least I had a few hours on the couch to read some more of that book. The shoes belonged to Mo. Mo stole the hat. I also put together an application for a press release writer job. I hope I remember to mail it tomorrow.
