Yesterday J.F. and I went to the mall and hung out at the bookstore. I couldn't resist buying another book. I believe it was called Desolation Road. After that we picked up a pizza at Dominoes and went back to my room to watch a couple episodes of Firefly. I've finally gotten J. into watching a series I like. Today I went with J. so she'd have someone to go eat with while she waited for her car to get fixed. Something to do with a headlight.
We just got back from the movie theater. I wanted to see the Vampire's Assistant or Model Citizen? (that one where the guy's family is killed the cops let the killer go and the guy starts offing people from prison). Instead J. insisted that we see Where the Wild Things Are. It was o.k. I wouldn't pay to see it again. I'm still slightly upset that I had to pay for both tickets as J. paid for lunch and said I owed her. At least it wasn't a horror movie.
On the bright side, when we got back to the dorm there were some kids in the parking lot twirling fireballs on ropes. Real fire. On ropes. Being twirled by kids in the parking lot. Unfortunately the flames went out right when I was going to take a picture so, like that fire twirler in Edinburgh, you'll just have to take my word for it.
